Loose Cell Cocoons
- These cocoons are sold removed from their nesting block.
- Just open the flap on the box and place it in the small attic of the Tower Bee House.
Cocoons in Nesting Block
- These cocoons are sold in the nesting block.
- The channels are three inches deep and generally contain four to five cocoons per full channel. So there are enough full tunnels for 200 cocoons.
- Place the block with cocoons in the main body of the Tower Bee House along with an empty nesting block to give them room to expand.
Cocoons in Nesting Tubes
- The cocoons come in 5 inch nesting tubes ready to emerge. There are typically 9 to 15 cocoons per tube.
- Place them in the BeeHut along with 15 to 30 empty tubes to give them room to expand.
- Not available in 2025 due to drought.
